Advisory Board

In order to strengthen our processes and services, XMPUS formed a new Advisory Board. The board provides strategic guidance and help the leadership team to shape growth strategies of XMPUS. Besides, the Advisory Board –

  • provides its expertise on the best practices followed in the financial sector,
  • brings diverse perspective on the operations of XMPUS
  • provides inputs on Credit Rating Advisory as well as any new initiative taken by XMPUS
  • guides XMPUS on various operational and industry related matters to fine-tune short and long-term strategies

Mr. M. D. Mallya

Advisory Board Mr. M. D. Mallya

Mr. M D Mallya is a member of the Advisory Board of XMPUS. A career banker, Mr. Mallya is a known name in the Banking and Financial Sector. Mr. Mallya was Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bank of Baroda (BOB). Prior to joining BOB, he was the CMD of Bank of Maharashtra.

He started his banking career from Corporation Bank in 1976. In a career spanning over 36 years, he has acquired significant experience in the banking sector working at various positions and carrying out various assignments. Mr. Mallya holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Mysore and a post-graduate diploma in industrial management from the Faculty of Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Besides, being associated with various institutions, Mr. Mallya is currently serving on the Board of Directors of various organizations including InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (IndiGo) and India Infradebt Ltd.

 

Mr. K R Kamath

Advisory Board Mr. K R Kamath

Mr. K R Kamath is a member of the Advisory Board of XMPUS. A career banker with 38 years’ experience, Mr. Kamath was Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Punjab National Bank (PNB). Starting his career in Corporation Bank, where he worked for 29 years, Mr. Kamath

moved on as Executive Director of Bank of India and CMD of Allahabad Bank before joining PNB. Mr. Kamath has also headed industry bodies like Indian Banks Association (IBA), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and Indian Institute for Banking & Finance (IIBF) facilitating development of sound and progressive baking policies. He has broad based exposure to other areas of financial sector through Board positions. As CMD of PNB, he was consistently figuring in the Top 100 India Inc’s. Most Powerful CEOs surveyed by Economic Times during 2010-2014. Mr. Kamath is presently mentoring a few start-ups and associated with various companies as a Board Member.
